Wordless Wednesday (Winter Playground Edition)

Finally! My Wordless Wednesdays have structure again thanks to the Poetic Winter Photography Challenge. This week's theme is solitude.

Somewhere, a little boy or little girl is snuggled into a warm home, knowing that the playthings of spring are looking forward to their return:

A bunch at a time:

In twos.....

Or alone.....

These pictures were taken in Bainbridge, Georgia, at the Earl May Boat Basin and Cheney Griffin Park.

The Poetic Winter Photo Challenge is sponsored by Kristi of Live and Love Out Loud, Faith of Sweet Violet, Rebecca of Bumbles and Light, and Alicia of Project Alicia. Next week's theme is "warmth" - the linky will be up on Friday, February 10 and you can find it at any of these sponsors' sites! Join us!

Great take on the prompt, I know that my little boy is certainly looking forward to nicer weather so that he can go play on the swings at the park!

Thanks for taking part in the Poetic Winter Photo Challenge :)

Im from Rochester NY, and we usually get Lake Effect snow from Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, but we have only had one snow storm with a measurable amount of snow! We have been running 10-20 degrees above normal here - its almost like spring is already hear!

Love this, Paula! I know I'm looking forward to the warm weather too! What I wouldn't give to swing under the warm sun right now...

Thanks so much for joining us in the Poetic Winter Photo Challenge! If you haven't already downloaded the free texture over at my place, stop by! We're moving on to our new theme on Friday, Warmth. Have a great day!
