Gunning for a Blackout

One of the Mama Kat writing prompts this week is also the Clorox Bleach It Away campaign prompt: Spending time with friends and family can lead to fun and memorable moments, but also some very messy ones. Tell us about the messiest moments that you’ll always remember!

Every Halloween, my son determines that his costume isn't at all complete without "accessories." He isn't worried about having a hand free with which to collect candy. It's all about the sheer power and ferocity (and having more toys). This year was no exception.

The gun wasn't ferocious enough in its original incarnation, which is where the black spray paint comes in. (This is not the first year I have been led down this path.)

Once the black spray paint started flowing, Wayne was on a roll.

Wayne was pretty excited about these artistic endeavors. So excited that he started right in on them wearing his best school clothes.

I received information about Clorox's Bleach It Away campaign and am sharing my messy moment for the chance to win prizes from The SITS Girls. As the mom of two boys, Clorox is one of my dearest friends!

Ha ha ha ha ha! Another mom of two boys here.

They say it gets better as they get older. Somehow? I don't think so! :)

Oh my goodness, black spray paint everywhere! You don't seem too freaked out about it. You must be a cool mama :)

Okay, that outline on the driveway is pretty cool! But yet so permanent-yikes! I hope his white shirt is white once again!

My back patio has spray paint marks like that from when my kids did Destination Imagination. Come to think of it, the concrete basement floor does as well. Oops!

LOL, someone mentioned you don't seem pretty freaked out about it. Is blogging about it keeping you from pouring a stiff one? I would have walked back into the house and taken a good long nap to keep from having a stroke. My Husband would have been the one that was calm and "Whatever... it's just concrete."
